Hands up if you are a student always running out of cash. Be it spending all of your 'cha-ching' for food or materials, you will never ever get that 200$ dress that you have eyed for months! Here are some tips and tricks that could help you save up a little more and even better, save your hassle during an emergency!
1. The trusty Eyebrow Pencil

The eyebrow pencil is THE HOLY GRAIL. You are at the scenario where you are broke and you can't afford an eyeliner or a contouring kit. I kid you not an eyebrow pencil can save you those cash yet do the same! Isn't it fantastic that an eyebrow pencil can act as a 3 in 1 tool? (eyebrows, eyeliner, and contour) It may not archive heavy cat lined eyes but hey, it still enhances your features naturally! Should I remind you that the no makeup look is a trend today?
2. Conceal, don't let them know!

Many times I face this challenge where my concealer runs out and I have to literally break the packaging apart and dig for any left residue to conceal my flaws on my face. Once the concealer is really empty, I now left with nothing to conceal. I could either walk out of the house or I could find another alternative which is with the liquid foundation! The same way as how you apply a liquid concealer, apply the liquid foundation on your flaws and blend it in then you are good to go!
3. Effortless curls

You don't want to be late for school tomorrow or you don't want to damage your versatile hair. This is a trick used by many girls with straight hair for the past years! It is easy and pretty effortless because all you need to do is just tie up your hair into a braid, a bun or anything else creative overnight and the next morning, bam! your hair is beautiful. #youwokeuplikethis

4. Blot those shine away

You are in school and it is lunch time, you walk into the toilet and in the mirror you see your face so tacky and almost disgusting. That is what we call the natural face oil. If you like the way it shines, you can leave it and go have lunch. If you don't, grab a piece of tissue paper and blot the shine away. Save up your cash by using tissue paper instead of buying blotting paper from the store. It works the same as well!
5. Save up on lip liners!

If you rarely use lip liners, you could save up on buying a lip liner which you barely use. One way to lip line your lips without a lip liner is to use eye shadow of a darker shade of your lipstick. Mix the eye shadow with your lipstick or lip cream and then use an angled brush to line your lips. Easy peesy!
